The guitar is based upon an 1830’s guitar made by René Lacôte.

 

The top is EUROPEAN SPRUCE

The back and sides are CALIFORNIA LAUREL

The neck is BLACK WALNUT

The headstock is SPANISH CEDAR

The headstock veneer is CALIFORNIA LAUREL

The fretboard is MACASSAR EBONY

The bridge is EAST INDIAN ROSEWOOD

The tuning machines were made by GOTOH

The bindings and end graft are MACASSAR EBONY

The purfling is MAPLE and DYED POPULAR

 

String length - 623mm, compensated (compensated means 1.5mm is added to string length at bridge to compensate for the stretching of the string when it is pushed down to be fretted.
