3. OPERATIONS MANAGER

The Twisted Spruce Music Foundation announces one part-time unpaid internship to start as soon as possible. All content delivery and meetings associated with this internship for the 2021 year will be conducted virtually. The internship is only available to individuals who are qualified to work in the United States. The Twisted Spruce can and will assist with grant funding for intern positions.         

 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Highly creative and motivated individual

  • Bachelor or graduate degree in music composition, classical guitar, arts leadership, or arts management

  • Demonstrated ability to maintain Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, and other social media platforms as needed

  • Working knowledge of, and access to Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe InDesign, and other Creative Suite applications

  • Strong ability to communicate effectively and persuasively

  • Strong ability to work on a team and to work independently

  • Ability and willingness to work in a fast paced and adaptive virtual environment

 

Essential Functions​

  • Advance vision for nonprofit operations

  • Assist with development and grant writing

  • Social media and marketing

  • Enrollment marketing

  • Outreach strategies

  • Manage 2021 Online Symposium activities

  • Attend Board of Directors meetings

 

Selected interns will begin immediately in a limited capacity, and will be fully engaged beginning in May.  Interns will be expected to help with social media campaigns one week per month in February, March, and April as training modules.  Internships officially begin May 1, 2021 through September 15, 2021.

Work hours are flexible and vary depending events, generally 2-20 hours per week

  • Demonstrated ability to build social media platforms that include Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube

  • Working knowledge of, and access to Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere Pro, InDesign, and other Creative Suite applications

  • Strong ability to communicate effectively and persuasively

  • Strong ability to work on a team and to work independently

  • Ability and willingness to work in a fast paced and adaptive virtual environment

  • Develop outreach strategies

  • Mentor younger participants 

  • Attend Twisted Spruce Board of Directors meetings

5. AUDIO/VIDEO SPECIALIST

The Twisted Spruce Music Foundation announces one part-time unpaid internship to start as soon as possible.  All content delivery and meetings associated with this internship for the 2021 year will be conducted virtually.  The internship is only available to individuals who are qualified to work in the United States. The Twisted Spruce can and will assist with grant funding for intern positions.     

 

Preferred Qualifications â€‹

  • Highly creative and motivated individual

  • Bachelor or master’s degree in audio engineering, music composition, guitar performance

  • Demonstrated ability to maintain and use Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube social media platforms

  • Working knowledge of, and access to Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere Pro, and other Creative Suite applications

  • Strong ability to communicate effectively and persuasively

  • Strong ability to work on a team and to work independently

  • Ability and willingness to work in a fast paced and adaptive virtual environment

 

Essential Functions

  • Develop audio and video media 

  • Fluency with Pro Tools, Logic Pro X, or other DAW, as well as Premiere Pro

  • Assist with audio development for World Ensemble 

  • Assist with audio development for Symposium competition

  • Liaise with select faculty and assist with curriculum

  • Assume leadership role with the organization

  • Vision for social media and marketing

  • Manage activities during the 2021 Online Symposium

  • Attend Twisted Spruce Board of Directors meetings
